Health Spas
If you are thinking of having a outside Spa now or in the future, either for relaxation and enjoyment or for health reasons, it needs to be planned into the garden at an early stage. It’s position is important – it needs to be in a place that offers privacy from both outside and the other garden users.
The preparation is key – don’t believe anyone that says that a spa can be placed directly on picon or other loose materials. It needs to be placed on a properly constructed, load bearing base.
Power supplies need to be planned and organised, should comply with local regulations and should be connected by a locally certificated electrician.
Drainage needs to be considered, if the spa is to be regularly emptied. Access for maintenance (essential in Fuerteventura’s climate) needs to be easy.
