This luxury apartment offers the discerning tourist absolute luxury. Built and fitted to a very high standard on the edge of one of the best lagoons of El Cotillo. Striking lounge/dining/kitchen living area. With open stairs leading to a most amazing roof terrace with direct beach views both front and back. The open plan and style gives a feeling of ‘loft’ living. 2 bedrooms, 1 twin with a separate large shower/wc, the master bedroom having its own luxury en-suite.All the floors have been laid in marble, Wooden stairs with glass and chrome banister leads to the roof terrace. Glassed picture windows to one side of the stairs for nighttime armchair stargazing from the living area! All windows in the apartment have sliding, vented shutters for use during hot weather and at night. Located on the roof terrace is an extra dinning table and chairs and sun beds. The grounds/patio and pools of the development are for private use by the apartments occupants only. However with the beach being located on the other side of the wall, there is plenty of freedom to explore the many lagoon bays and areas of privacy for both textile and nudists sunbathers.

Bedroom description:

2 spacious comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. Both bedrooms are furnished stylishly and are colour co-ordinated. Fitted with dressing tables and mirrors, bedside cabinets, wall lights. Large fitted wardrobes with ample storage. The Master bedroom has a luxury en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds.

Bathrooms:

2 large quality shower rooms fitted with, wc, bidet, and vanity sink unit with marble surrounds.

Kitchen:

Fully fitted galley kitchen divides the living area from the bedroom, Fitted with quality appliances such as fridge/freezer, kettle, Oven, Ceramic hob/extractor, microwave, coffee machine, plenty of cutlery and crockery. Marble granite worktops and bar unit.

Living Room:

Fabulous colour scheme of reds/blacks and chrome. The spacious living/dining room has 2 large comfortable red leather sofas, wall units, TV, standard lamps, coffee table, glass dining table for 6 with black leather seating. 2 large picture windows with shutters.

Utility Room:

Washing machine installed in the kitchen and drying rack located in the apartment for use on the terrace.

Cleaning

Amenities:

Plenty of the best Restaurants/Tapas Bars can be found in and around El Cotillo, both offering locally caught fish and many local meat dishes. There are fully stocked supermarkets, bakers, vegetable shops and newsagents in the village. It is possible to enjoy time in El Cotillo without hiring a car. However the island needs to be explored to appreciate its stark volcanic beauty and amazing inland villages and coastline, it is worth hiring a car for some of the time. Many new museums, galleries and historic sites (such as a guided walk down the ‘Lava Tube’ in nearby Villaverde) have recently opened on the Island. Most shops will carry local tourist information booklets. The main local Tourist Board for the north is situated in Corralejo and some information will be found in the apartment. Along with plenty of sun bathing and swimming (nude or with swim wear) in the cleanest Atlantic water, or lazing by the pool, activities such as a day in the Baku theme/water park, scuba diving, windsurfing, kite surfing, Ten Pin Bowling, live acoustic music, bird watching, organised walks to the volcanoes, quad bike excursions and boat trips can be found.

A year round holiday destination Fuerteventura boasts some of the finest surf beaches and lagoons in the canaries. El Cotillo appears to have its own microclimate and receives more sunshine than other towns in the north. Eating out is still remarkably inexpensive and caters for all tastes. New shopping centres have recently opened in Corralejo – El Campanario and La Rotunda in Puerto del Rosario. Golf is available in Caleta de Fuste. Many new cultural centres have opened to promote the island’s Mahon culture. Local Festivals are a regular monthly feature and details can be found in the local tourist board relating to what is one during your stay.
